CPN has multiple Associates whose skill sets range from major accounting practices to CFO’s of large companies, compliance and due diligence specialists and real estate experts. All Associates have over 10 years of experience and are recognized in their respective fields. Many have worked with recognized firms and some have deep ties to government and Fortune 500 Companies.
The principal, Mr. Pappie, is a recognized corporate financial specialist. Mr. Pappie has also had his commentary published by the World Bank, was appointed to the Reagan Congressional Commission, has worked with the Small Business Administration Advocates Office in Washington DC and the SEC’s Small Business Issuers Advisory Committee. He has personally authored or edited more than 200 business documents including business plans, industry analytical research reports, valuations, due diligence documents, private placement memoranda, and grant proposals. Mr. Pappie received his B.S. degree from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts, with a Major in Marketing, and minors in Economics, Finance and Business Law.
Lead Associate: Leonard was a senior associate for mergers and acquisitions for The Geneva Companies, an Investment banking subsidiary of Salomon-Smith Barney. Leonard analyzed over 75 businesses to determine economic value for potential acquisitions. In his duties he developed sales/profit forecasts, researched industrial market trends and prepared marketing documents. He is a business valuation expert.
Lead Associate: Cliff has consulted with troubled organizations for more than 35 years. In his first project, he was assigned by the Chairman and CEO of TRW to serve in a small team addressing Cleveland’s Urban Problems. At Ernst & Young, he headed a small team for the restructuring of the Chief Administrative Office of Orange County, California. For BDO Seidman, he prepared the first comprehensive marketing plan for the Los Angeles office, and assisted the Office Managing Partner in formation of the marketing team to implement the plan.
As Principal Consultant to the Chairman & CEO of The Wickes Companies, Inc., he started the original documentation of the company for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, that continued for 30 months. Researched, structured, configured, edited and produced 250 corporate
presentations over six years, for all C-level officers.
As Managing Director for Janas Associates (M&A), researched and prepared, for companies being sold, The Book, for review by prospective purchasers. He also consulted sell-side and buy-side clients on their visual presentations to small to mid-sized audiences, as well as Janas marketing presentations to law firms and CPA firms.
Lead Associate: Olivia has authored an entire series of articles and video instruction on SEO and has spoken at events with Constant Contact and other notable companies. She has worked with, or for, Fortune 500 companies as a content specialist and lead software project planner. She has also ghost written several books and articles and is considered an awareness expert. She has worked with several famous self motivational speakers as well in various capacities.
Lead Associate: Brandon has 15+ years in small business development and project management; including web design, web marketing, graphics, content writing, business documents and CMS publishing platforms. Specialization includes project, program, and account management.
